David R AyónDavid R. Ayón, coauthor of Power Shift: How Latinos in California Transformed Politics in America, was educated at Princeton, Stanford, and El Colegio de México and has taught politics and policymaking at seven universities from UC Bereley to UC San Diego. His work has appeared in over twenty books and other publications in the US and Mexico. Ayón is a Senior Fellow of the Center for the Study of Los Angeles, was Senior Advisor to the Mexico Institute of the Woodrow Wilson Center, and has worked as an analyst, consultant, political columnist, and special producer for Spanish-language TV during elections in the US and Mexico.
