David P WarnersDavid Paul Warners has been a biology professor at Calvin College since 1997, teaching classes in botany, biological research, evolution, and restoration ecology. He earned an MS from the University of Wisconsin and a PhD from the University of Michian. Dave and his wife, Teri, worked for two years in community development in Tanzania. In 2009, David and colleague Gail Heffner initiated a campus-based group called Plaster Creek Stewards that works with the broader community to restore health and beauty to the local watershed. David is also working with Dr. Garrett Crow to document the botanical and ecological changes that have taken place in West Michigan over the past 120 years. Read More Read Less
