David Mb BrownDavid served in the British Army for almost forty years, joining when he was just 15 years old as an Infantry Junior Leader. He was commissioned from the ranks and finally left the Army at the age of 55 with the rank of Major.As a young soldier he sa combat in the Middle East in 1964/5. In 1969 and 1976 he completed various tours of duty during the terrorist war in Northern Ireland. On leaving the army he became a professional mountaineering instructor.
