David Macintyre

Tom Cone has written fourteen plays, including Cubistique, Beautiful Tigers, and Mecca by the Balls, which have been featured in numerous productions internationally. His play Herringbone was adapted into a musical and premierd in Chicago, followed by productions in New York, Edinburgh, and London. David McIntyre is the composer of over forty works, including five operas; twenty interdisciplinary projects in dance, theatre, and visual art; and numerous concert works for chamber and orchestral ensembles. His work has been performed throughout Canada and featured at major international festivals in the United States and Europe. He co-founded the music program at Simon Fraser University in 1979.
