David M SnyderDavid M. Snyder was born and raised in the Central New York town of Camillus, NY. As a youngster, he spent summers swimming, water-skiing, and fishing on Skaneateles Lake. He attended the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he played acrosse and rugby, earning his BS in 1967. He then served on active duty in the US Army as a helicopter pilot in Vietnam and received the Bronze Star for Valor. He attained the rank of major.
