David GoldsteinDavid Goldstein grew up in New York and attended Florida State University, where he earned a degree in Criminology along with many other prospective civil servants. After serving as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps, David Goldstein spent two and ahalf years as a patrol officer with the LAPD in Los Angeles. He then joined the NYPD and served in high-crime areas in northern Brooklyn before becoming a Lieutenant/Platoon Commander in South Jamaica, Queens. After retiring from the NYPD in 2020, he served for four years as a campus police officer in Boston. David's debut crime novel, Another Body in Brooklyn was released in October of 2025.
