David Frith Born in London, raised in Sydney, David Frith is the author of a wide range of popular cricket books, many of them on the Anglo-Australian theme. Two have won the Cricket Society Literary Award, and his pictorial history of Austalia v England Test cricket has sold over 90,000 copies. He played several years of first-grade cricket with Paddington in Sydney, which was Victor Trumper's old club, and now well beyond his 40th season is with a small league club in Surrey.
