David Ferguson

David Ferguson was born and brought up in Scotland. He has been working in China as a journalist since 2006. Living in China made him realise the previous Western stereotyped visions of China is, to some extent, distorted. And it is important to gin experience the first-hand materials for reporting faithfully. Mr Ferguson has been in direct contact with Chinese people and understands the people’s dream of building a community with a shared future.

Honorary chief English Editor of Foreign Language Press, China International Communications Group (CICG). He is a recipient of the Chinese Government Friendship Award, the Special Book Award of China, the prestigious Huilin Prize, and Outstanding Achievement Award of the inaugural Orchid Awards. His representative works include “China’s Rural Revitalization: The Gansu Experience” “Nantong Tales - Pioneers from China’s First Modern City”, “From ‘Made in Guangdong’ to ‘Created in Guangdong’”, “Building a Green Beijing”, etc.
