Dave DillonDave Dillon earned a BA in Sociology from UC Santa Cruz and a MA in Counseling from the University of San Diego. His first career and passion was coaching basketball for seven years at UC San Diego. In the midst of a 20 win season, Dave slept atop th university's arena for two weeks helping to break a record for attendance at a home game. With counseling and instruction experience at four San Diego Community Colleges as an adjunct counselor, Dave began to shape the ideas that resulted in this textbook. As tenured counseling faculty at Grossmont College, he enjoys counseling, teaching, and connecting with students. In addition, Dave serves as the Student Success and Support Program Technology Coordinator, and does his best to keep up with the millennial generation and their use of technology in and out of the classroom.
