Danny TDanny Ferguson grew up in Winston Salem, North Carolina, attended East Carolina University, and served honorably in the U.S. Marine Reserves. Danny graduated from the University of Memphis School of Law where he served as managing editor of the law rview.In Memphis, Shelby County, Danny served as an assistant public defender and as the coordinator of the capital defense teams.Later in Winston Salem, North Carolina, he practiced criminal law, serving as a state and federal defender, an assistant public defender and as counsel for the Guardian Ad Litem office.Now after fifty years as a practicing attorney, Danny is retired and lives in the Charleston area with his grandchildren nearby, his beagle Beau at his feet, and particularly with the love of his life, Betty, by his side.
