Daniel LindenDan Linden is a husband, father, grandfather, and author. He was raised in Chicago's Humboldt Park neighborhood on the city's west side. After his father died when he was eleven years old, he moved to Park Ridge, Illinois, and lived with his mother ad brother's family. At Maine South High School in Park Ridge, he became the captain of both the varsity football and baseball teams. Maine South is also where he met and started dating his wonderful wife of forty-one years, the former Donna Rose DiMatteo. Dan has an Associate's Degree from Triton College, a Bachelor's Degree from Kansas State University (KSU), and a Master's Degree in Business from Loyola University of Chicago. Major League Baseball was his first pursuit; he settled for a full-ride baseball scholarship at KSU. After KSU, he accepted a pharmaceutical sales position. The pharmaceutical industry met his passions for competition, science, psychology, and financial reward. He started in sales and held a variety of sales leadership positions. During his twenty-eight-year career at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, he was enshrined in Pfizer's Hall of Fame for Sales and reached the corporate level of Senior Director. His career was cut short in late 2010 when he was disabled by the mental illnesses of generalized anxiety disorder and treatment-resistant depression. His life has teetered on survival and surrender. Having successfully survived a fourteen-year war within his mind, he is uniquely qualified to raise hopes, proliferate love, and demonstrate gratitude. His characteristics of tenacity, resilience, and willpower have served him well enough to help others with their well-being and to win a war within their mind. Read More Read Less
