Daniel Kuttner

Daniel Kuttner was born to German-Jewish immigrant parents. He grew up in the mountains of Western Pennsylvania -- coal and steel country. Since then, he's lived in many other areas of America and has seen much of the world during his time in the .S. Navy.

Daniel has worked in diverse occupations since his Navy days, including Oil, Airline, Railroad, Television and Radio. His experiences pepper his short plays and stories. He just finished his first novel, "Pipeline," an action-adventure based on his experiences while working on the Alaska Pipeline. His second novel, in progress, is a thinly disguised sequel to the film "Forbidden Planet."

He also has a bushel-full of notes for additional short stories, plays and a self-help book entitled "Be Brave, Be Free."

Daniel lives in Sun City, CA, He shares his house with two small parrots, Jasper and Zeke.

Of his early writing, he says, "I started at about age 9, writing about pirates and buried treasure."
