Daniel BaconDaniel Bacon is the creator the Barbary Coast Trail, San Francisco's official historical walk, and is a lifelong resident of the San Francisco Bay Area. He is a graduate of San Francisco State University and served as a Director of the San Francisco useum and Historical Society for fifteen years. Before turning to history, Mr. Bacon worked as a musician, general contractor, and publicist for technology companies. He has written extensively on San Francisco history for local and national publications and is the author of Walking San Francisco on the Barbary Coast Trail.
