Dane ListonThe author is a retired scientist (although scientists never really retire). He earned a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of Utah, and worked for almost 40 years doing research and drug discovery for treatments for Alzheimer's disease and cacer. Professionally, he has contributed to over 45 scientific publications, but this is his first (and only) work of pure fiction. In retirement, he enjoys woodworking, astrophotography (I'll find them cagey Aliens!), fishing, fixing stuff around his 175-year-old house and writing.
