Dan YashinskyDan Yashinsky has been a professional storyteller for more than thirty years, performing and teaching all over the world. He won the 2007 Anne Izard Storytellers' Choice Award for Suddenly They Heard Footsteps and was shortlisted for the 1991 TorontoBook Award for Tales for an Unknown City. He founded the Toronto Storytelling Festival, was one of the founders of the Storytellers School of Toronto, and began the 1001 Friday Nights of Storytelling in 1978, a weekly institution in Toronto that continues to this day.
