Dale A. ZimmermanDale Zimmerman (1928–2021) was a long-time faculty member in the Department of Natural Sciences at Western New Mexico University. From the 1950s to the 2010s, Zimmerman travelled the globe, studying flora and avifauna on all seven continents. e received the Ludlow Griscom Award from the American Birding Association in 2015 for his contributions to ornithology.
