D K PalDr. Dilip Kumar Pal graduated in 1968 with honours in Chemistry, obtained the M.Sc. (Ag) degree in Agricultural Chemistry with specialization in Soil Science in 1970 and earned his Ph.D. degree in Agricultural Chemistry in 1976. Research activities o Dr. D.K. Pal, for the last 33 years on Benchmark alluvial{Indo-Gangetic Alluvial Plains (IGP)}, ferruginous and shrinkswells of India, expanded the basic knowledge in soil genesis, soil micromorphology, paleopedology.
