D G Hanson

D.G. is a West Coast native turned Midwesterner who grew up adventuring alongside his two brothers in Dungeons & Dragons campaigns and the World of Warcraft. A self-taught writer since his teens, he has studied mythic storytelling structures, inclding the Hero's Journey, and draws particular inspiration from epic character arcs and immersive world-building. He is known for crafting detailed realms-often beginning with hand-drawn maps-where consequence, courage, and transformation shape the story. When he isn't writing, D.G. builds worlds in Minecraft and refines his homemade pizza recipe, always in the company of his German Shepherd, Freya.
