Cyril Levicki Cyril Levicki was raised and educated in London's East End. His first job as a labourer earned him the money to start up his own business. Over the next twelve years he ran businesses in retail, wholesale and manufacturing ranging from a market sall in Petticoat Lane to international import and export.At 35, he gained a degree in Economics and Politics at London University. He was awarded a scholarship to pursue his studies at the London Business School where he researched his Ph.D. into leadership decision making. He has taught at London Business School, Cranfield School of Management, and Queen Mary College, London University. In 1986 he was appointed Visiting Professor in Strategy at City University of New York and in September 2001 he joined a new management faculty at Reading University.In addition to teaching, the author runs a consultancy practice, which specialises in developing leaders and their organisation's strategies at boardroom level.
