Curt CarpenterCurt makes woodblock prints inspired by the big, dramatic country of Western Colorado.The prints start with ink drawings made in the field which are later transferred to the woodblock, then carved, and printed in his studio. Curt has a BS in studio at (1973) and an MA in graphic design and printmaking (1978) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and have been a graphic designer, printmaker, and taught printmaking in Aspen since 1979. In Curt's prints will be in the "Art of the State 2025" at the Arvada Center in 2025. In 2024, his work was included in "528.0 Regional Juried Printmaking Exhibition" at the Arvada Center, "Under Pressure 2024" at the Lincoln Center Art Gallery in Fort Collins, and "Past, Present & Future" at the Aspen Chapel Gallery.
