Colin McGill

Colin McGill is an Associate Professor of Teacher Education at Edinburgh Napier University. Prior to this, he enjoyed 14 years as a science teacher and head of science in secondary schools in Scotland.
As well as working with student teachers o develop their classroom craft, he also provides chemistry-specific professional development for existing teachers. He has written for several publications, including TES and Education in Chemistry. He is a co-host of Beyond Survival: the new teacher podcast and is passionate about supporting student teachers and novice teachers to develop their teaching practice.
