Chunnu PrasadDr. Chunnu Prasad trained as a Social Scientist and Socio-Political Activist. Presently he is working as an Academic Officer, Academic Department, National Institute of Open Schooling, Department of Education and Literacy, Ministry of Human Resource evelopment, Government of India. He authored India's Refugee Regime and Resettlement Policy; Chakma's and the Politics of Nationality in Arunachal Pradesh. His interest area is Migration, Refugees, Dalits, Triba Is, Eth nicity, Movements, Religion, Human Rights and Sexuality. He has contributed more than fifty articles in referred journals and in edited books. He worked with various Government and Non-Government Organizations viz. NATRSS, ISSR, liDS, and CPS/JNU New Delhi over a period of time. He has presented number of papers in national and international conferences/ seminars/workshops in India and abroad. He has been awarded young SocialScience participation award in collaboration with International Development Research Centre, Canada and Indian Social Science Research on the area related to social inclusion in India's Northeast. Apart from this he has visited countries like Ethiopia, Mali, Senegal, Nepal etc for academic endeavor.
