Christopher Cooke

is a retired modern languages teacher who has been a Green Party councillor in Wirral since 2019. His writing is informed by his background in education and political activisim.

Over the past several years, he has written in a wide rnge of genres and for various purposes. His second novel, Green Necropolis, follows the fortunes of a family struggling to survive in a dystopian society faced with climate breakdown and an increasingly intrusive and authoritarian government.
