Christien GholsonChristien Gholson is the author of several books of poetry, including Absence: Presence (Shanti Arts Publishing) and All the Beautiful Dead Along the Side of the Road (Bitter Oleander Press); along with a novel: A Fish Trapped Inside the Wind (Parthin Books). Several chapbooks can be found online, including Tidal Flats (Mudlark). He attended Naropa University; University of California, Davis; and Southwestern College in Santa Fe, New Mexico. His work has appeared in Alaska Quarterly Review, Banyan Review, Ecotone, Flyway, Hotel Amerika, Mudlark, Permafrost, The Shore, The Sun, and Tiger Moth Review, among many other literary journals, and is the recipient of a Pushcart Prize. He works as a somatic-oriented mental health counselor at a clinic collective.
