Chris SchwarzChris Schwarz was born in Moline amidst amber waves of grain and green tractors. He grew up reading J.R.R. Tolkien and Robert Heinlein, ultimately becoming an engineer rather than a wizard, but not by choice. The son of an immigrant, he was the firstin his family to attend college. Along the way he picked up a Ph.D. in engineering and learned to Salsa dance. By day he writes about research on advanced vehicles done with a big ole' driving simulator, and by night he writes his own stories. He is the author of a young adult series featuring four high school friends solving mysteries tinged with science and technology. Its first installment, The Cache, is coming soon.
