Chris Riley
Disruptive internet policy engineer, beverage connoisseur, gregarious introvert, contrarian order Muppet, persistent optimist (somehow!), and proud husband & father. Not in order.
Chris has two decades of professional experience and lifetime of study on issues at the intersection of technology and policy, working in and alongside computer science, law, politics, social science, and other disciplines.
He is based in Tacoma, Washington, but his professional roots are in the San Francisco Bay Area and Washington, D.C. (and his personal roots lie in nearby West Virginia). His scope today is global, because the internet is global - as are the forces that shape it, including the individual and collective actions of governments, businesses, and users.
