Chinyere UdehMs. Chinyere Udeh is a first-generation Nigerian who grew up in America. Her passion for humanity and curiosity and love for the United States' justice system, which she developed while growing up in America drove her into majoring and working in thearea of Criminal Justice. She obtained a master's degree in Homeland Security with concentration in Criminal Justice, from American Military University; a bachelor 's degree (Hons) in Criminal Justice, and Certificate in Forensic Investigation, both from Coppin State University; and an Associate's degree in Law Enforcement and Correctional Administration, from Baltimore City Community College. She joined the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Service in the state of Maryland in January, 2014, and worked in different sections in the Department: at various times as DNA Collector, Project Manager and Statistics Data Analyst. Although she advanced to the level of Correctional Officer II, her career progression was suddenly cut short albeit illegally when she was relieved of her job in June, 2019 without any just cause. It is this injustice and divine help that motivated her into becoming a writer. Ms. Udeh belongs to several national and international professional bodies in her area of specialization and fields of interest. She is a member of the American Military University Chapter of the Society for Collegiate Leadership & Achievement, the American Military University Chapter of Alpha Phi Sigma Honor Society, the West Virginia lota Chapter of Pi Gamma National Honor Society for the Social Sciences, and the American Military University Chapter of Pi Gamma Mu International Honor Society.
