Charles Eben JohnsCharles Eben Johns, known by his middle name Eben by family and friends. Eben is now a bit of a worn carpenter, and arm chair philosopher, who lives in Amarillo, Texas and has since Christmas of 1978. Life experience and the grace of God, his qualifications for writing this 'how to' book on being thankful. He was born in an Indian hospital in Stella, Missouri. He converted to Catholicism in 1987. Raised Baptist. He loves to study applied history with a spiritual component, golf, smoke cigars and trout fish. Mr Johns attributes his faith in God to Mrs. Birtha Johns, his grandmother, the best Southern Baptist woman who ever lived.
