Charles C Coffin
Charles Carleton Coffin, author and lecturer, was a war correspondent for the Boston Journal during the Civil War. He joined the Army of the West, witnessing first-hand and reporting on the war's most important battles. H also wrote numerous books, published between 1858 and 1887.
