Charles Bucher Charles A. Bucher was a leader in Physical Education. He received his Ed.D. from New York University. He taught physical education at several institutions ending his career at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He co-authored one of the firt fitness books, Fitness for College and Life with William Prentice. He also wrote the marketing leading Management of Physical Education and Sport now in its twelfth edition and authored by March Krotee. Foundations of Physical Education and Sport is now in its fourteenth edition and is authored by Deborah Wuest.
