Cecil G

Cecil G is a Washington-based cartoonist and quite possibly a space alien. Their works span from introspective bildungsromans about the trials and tribulations of being sixteen, to pragmatic explorations of fairy tales that still apply deep into aulthood. In particular, they are interested in crafting narratives that speak out about the silent cycle of child abuse and give bravery to those struggling through post-traumatic recovery. Their works aim to evoke feelings of both dreamy fantasy and piercing reality to better express the inexpressible.

The Guardian's Dilemma is their debut novel.
