Caz Goodwin

Caz Goodwin is an award-winning, internationally published children’s author and storyteller. Her books have won or been shortlisted for a range of awards, including the Children’s Book Council of Australia (CBCA) Book of the Year, the Speech Pathlogy Book of the Year and Singapore’s National Arts Council Beyond Words Award. Caz heads the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) in Victoria and is a recent council member of the Young Australian Best Book Awards (YABBA). Her books have been produced in Braille for blind and low-vision readers, featured in the Premier’s Reading Challenge and showcased on CBCA Storytime, podcasts, newspapers and radio. Caz is passionate about championing children’s literature and has spoken at numerous local and international festivals, conferences, community events, libraries and schools.
