Catie CatCatherine Castoro is an author and illustrator/oil painter. Catie Cat is the pen name for her children's book brand. The Little Girl who wants to be BIG is her fourth children's book. She has worked as a writer, designer, and illustrator/fine artist n advertising and marketing. Other books by Catie Cat include: My Friend Flutter, Flutter's Birthday, and How to Keep Monsters Out of your Room. She has a BS Advertising and a BA in Psychology from the University of Texas, and was a Research Assistant in the Children's Research Lab while attending the University. Catie has a Certificate of Completion in Advanced Creative Writing from the Department for Continuing Education, University of Oxford, England. She has won several awards including: First Page Contest Finalist in writing, and Juror's Choice Award, Distinguished Award, and Best of Show in art and design.
