The Kabaka of Buganda, the people, the music, the buildings, the view from the veranda of our home became etched in my brain. As an adult a chance meeting cased me to sing the Uganda National Anthem. Not long after that I flew with Iceland Air. The TV screen had the usual adverts. One advert which was extolling Iceland as a country said, "Everyone has a book in them." This is mine. The process is much like how I imagine a sculptor works. You slap on the clay, create a base and go from there. It has taken nine years to complete.
