Miriella Castillo is a rising children's book author whose stories celebrate culture, language, and the natural world. Originally from Mexico, she now lives in Toronto with her family. Her writing is deeply influenced by her own journey--growing u in Mexico and immigrating to Canada as a teenager--which she brings to life through bilingual English-Spanish storytelling. Miriella holds a Bachelor of Arts in Writing and frequently collaborates with talented illustrators to create visually captivating and meaningful books for young readers. Passionate about the environment, she weaves themes of nature and sustainability into her work, encouraging children to think about their role in shaping a better future. Through her books, Miriella hopes to inspire curiosity, empathy, and a love of diverse voices and stories.
