C. BaskaranC. Baskaran is presently serving as the Librarian/Professor in Alagappa University, Karaikudi, India. He successfully completed a Major Research Project has funded by ICSSR, New Delhi and currently also taking up a Major Research Project from same fuding agency (ICSSR). He has authored three books in Library and Information Science. He is a research guide in the Dept. of Library and Information Science, Alagappa University and he guided and awarded eight Ph.D scholars and eight Scholars pursuing Ph.D under his guidance. He has published more than 100 articles to his credit. He was an adjudicator and examiner for Viva-voce exams of Many Ph.D in several Universities. Moreover, he is an editor of a Journal and Editorial advisory board member for journals of Library and Information Science. He visited and Presented papers at International Conferences in Malaysia and Greece. He has been holding charge additionally SWAYAM /MOOCs Co-ordinator of the University.
