He has been board chair for The Learning Center of North Texas, active in Texas Council on Family Relations and NCFR, with Bobbye served as international president couple for Better Marriages (ACME), coordinated the International Marriage Enrichment Conferences (IMEC) for ten years, written several books on relationships including one on grief.
