Brigid Lowry Brigid Lowry was born in New Zealand and has returned to live there after many years in Australia. After the success of Guitar Highway Rose, Brigid wrote Follow the Blue, and her most recent novel, With Lots of ove from Georgia, won the Young Adult section of the New Zealand Children's Post Book Awards in 2006.
