Brian Morgan

Brian MorganBrian Morgan has won numerous state and national awards as a journalist, editor and author. His most prestigious national writing award was the Fellowship of Australian Writers' National Literary Award, The Jim Hamilton Award. His first book, publishd traditionally, was a sellout best-seller in the US and the UK, and his work has been translated for Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese readers. Brian now has nine books available in print, all published independently, and he has helped other writers publish. Several books are in progress for publication. His life revolves around one passion - to leave the world a little better than he found it. He sticks to this guiding principle whether it be in the home, his work, the community, the country or the world. He believes we should earn the right to be here, wherever we are. His "skill with the quill" is his weapon of choice, and he's not afraid to use it to help others. Brian has been called an integrity advocate, a thought leader, a teacher and a peace warrior - among other things. He has fought for mental health, freedom of speech, disability support, children, the homeless, integrity and responsibility in business, Aboriginal equality (an ongoing struggle), justice and fairness everywhere. Climate change and human rights abuses always attract his attention. He has raised much-needed funds for charities like the Red Cross, the National Heart Foundation and the Salvation Army, and served as a volunteer in several organizations and as a consultant in others. Awards and testimonies, local, state and national, attest to his value to those in need and to those without a voice. While writing this book in 2018, he was designated as a Global Goodwill Ambassador as recognition for his lifetime of service to causes of human need. Ambassadors work for the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals for Human Rights. Brian has been described as a business and thought leader, a business founder, an integrity advocate and a voice for the unheard. He founded and ran Professional Independent Publishing Standards (PiPS) from 2014 to 2018. After many years as a business leader and as a journalist, editor and publisher, he is devoting his senior years writing his books in the solitude he loves. His writing attracts accolades around the world. He believes that a writer's life should be a life of service, a life of purpose. He is disabled, but despite lack of mobility, he works, writes and fights (if the cause is right) because he believes service is what makes life worthwhile. Read More Read Less
