Brian EvensonBrianEvenson is the author of more than a dozen books of fiction, mostrecently the story collection The Glassy, Burning Floor of Hell. Hiscollection Song for the Unraveling of the World won the Shirley JacksonAwar and the World Fantasy Award and was a finalist for the Los AngelesTimes' Ray Bradbury Prize. Other prizes include the 2009 American LibraryAssociation's RUSA award for Last Days and the International HorrorGuild Award for The Wavering Knife. He is the recipient of three O.Henry Prizes, a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship, and a GuggenheimFellowship. His work has been translated into more than a dozen languages. He livesin Los Angeles and teaches in the Critical Studies Program at CalArts.
