Bram Connolly Lieutenant-Colonel Bram Connolly DSM turned to writing after leaving the Special Forces in 2011. He is the current Commanding Officer of the 11/28th Battalion of the Royal Western Australia Regiment, the author of two military trillers, The Fighting Season and Off Reservation, and a leadership handbook, The Commando Way, and now 100 Ways I Almost Died. Bram was awarded the Distinguished Service Medal for leadership in combat in Afghanistan in 2010 and has served in Somalia and multiple deployments to East Timor.
