Brahmeshwar Mishra

Dr. Brahmeshwar Mishra is a Professor of Pharmaceutics at the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) in Varanasi, with over 40 years of experience in teaching and research. He has served as the Chairman of the Medical Board at IIT (BHU) from June 202 to 2023. His expertise lies in the formulation of controlled and novel drug delivery systems, including nanoformulations, focusing on bioavailability and pharmacokinetics. He has supervised over 30 doctoral candidates and nearly 100 postgraduate students, publishing around 300 articles, 226 abstracts, 43 book chapters, and holding 3 patents.

He is a leading researcher in drug delivery. He has received numerous awards, including the Best Young Pharmacy Teacher Award and the Pharmacy Excellence Award. Additionally, he has served on editorial boards, traveled internationally for talks, and participated in various academic committees and programs.
