Bohan PiaseckiBohdan Piasecki is a poet and translator from Poland with a particular interest in multilingual writing and voice as a medium for poetry. He founded the first poetry slam in Poland in 2003, before moving to the UK to pursue a doctorate in translationstudies. A prolific performer, he has toured in over 27 countries and in 2023 he won the inaugural Forward Prize for Best Single Poem - Performed. He has translated numerous contemporary performance poets for the stage, and recently worked with the Manchester Poetry Library to curate their Polish collection.
