Bobby GoshBobby Gosh has had a long and varied musical career. As a young musician, he played piano and sang in Manhattan nightclubs. While playing in Billy Reed's Little Club, Gosh met the great lyricist, Sammy Cahn and began writing songs with him, including"The Need of You," recorded by Diahann Carroll. Later, Gosh toured the world for two years as Paul Anka's pianist, orchestra conductor, and co-writer. During this time, Gosh sang and played on the original piano-voice demo of Anka's song, "My Way," which was then presented to Frank Sinatra-the rest became musical history. Upon his return to New York City, Gosh signed recording contracts with Polydor Records as well as successive ones with ABC Paramount, Capitol Records, and RCA Records. Gosh's song, "A Little Bit More," became a Top Ten hit and rock classic recorded by Dr. Hook. Many other diverse pop, rock, country, and jazz artists have also recorded Gosh's songs. Gosh's songs have been featured in several movies, including "Big," starring Tom Hanks and Woody Allen's film "Mighty Aphrodite." He also composed "Welcome to Our World of Toys," played in all FAO Schwarz stores. He has appeared as the opening act in concert with Barbra Streisand in Central Park and opened for Billy Joel at the Troubadour in Hollywood. Bobby lives in Vermont, with his wife Billi and still records songs in his state-of-the-art digital recording studio. He has two grown children, Kristina and Erik. Read More Read Less
