Bob MizonBob Mizon, MBE (1946-2023) was co-ordinator of the Commission for Dark Skies. He was elected a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society in 1985, and was associated with the Wessex Astronomical Society in various offices for many years. For almost thre decades he provided a full-time mobile planetarium service to south central England, and took the experience of the night sky to nearly 160,000 people, mostly schoolchildren.
