Bob was made a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for his contribution to Technica Education as Director of the Sydney Institute of Technology. Following his 'retirement' Bob became National Chairman of Worldskills Australia. He now serves on local community organisations and is a Board member of a NSW plumbing training organisation.
