Bob ArmstrongBob Armstrong is a retired book salesman and freelance journalist. His stories and op-eds have appeared in the San Francisco Chronicle, San Francisco Examiner, Portland Oregonian, Seattle Times, and numerous alternative newspapers, including The Strager in Seattle. No Exit from Vietnam is his second memoir. The first, Vanilla Slim (2006), was published in the US by Carroll & Graf. He is currently working on a third memoir, A Secret Life in a Dazzling Pink Fairyland.
