I grew up in small town in Kentucky, in a time where domestic violence was overlooked a lot. This story is based on my personal story, my family's story about growing up in a home with very abusive father and husband. We all endured physical, emotonal, verbal, and sexual abuse and to maintain silence and control he used fear as a weapon,

I am hoping to send a message of hope to anyone who is or knows someone in similar situations. Things are different today. There is help. You don't have to feel trapped and you're not alone.

GET HELP. GET OUT and no longer be a victim and together you can learn to be a survivor.
