Dr. Sande serves as an Associate Professor and Director of the Panther Teaching Academy and the Panther Educator Residency Consortium at Prairie View A&M University, where she leads innovative teacher preparation initiatives designed to prepare educators and school leaders to effectively serve diverse student populations, including minority students, students with disabilities, and gifted learners. Her work emphasizes equitable access to high-quality instruction and developing educators prepared to meet the needs of all learners from their first day in the classroom. Dr. Sande’s teaching and mentoring focus on leadership, educational reform, and research-based practices that improve outcomes for underserved student populations.
