Beverly Adab

Beverly Adab is a lecturer in French at Aston University. She gained her First Class Honours degree from Birmingham University, and went on to do an MPhil in French Studies, also at Birmingham. She joined Aston University in 1990, where she introdced a course in Professional Translation. She also teaches interpreting and holds the Diploma in Translation of the Institute of Linguists. She has just completed PhD research on translation problems and cross-cultural mediation in the field of advertising.
